Do I have to migrate away from WooCommerce?
No and that's the whole point. Stratum connects to your existing WooCommerce store exactly as it is. Your themes, your products, your SEO, your customer base none of that changes. Stratum sits alongside your store and adds the channels and management tools you're missing.
Will my existing WooCommerce products sync automatically?
Yes. When you connect your WooCommerce store, your entire product catalogue syncs into Stratum automatically. From there you can publish products to Takealot, Facebook, Instagram or Google Shopping with a few clicks no re-entering product data.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes. You can use a domain you already own, or register a new one. If you already have a domain, you can keep it where it is and simply connect it to Stratum, or transfer it to Stratum so everything is managed in one place.
Is there really no setup fee or hidden costs?
None. Your monthly subscription is the only cost. Stratum charges zero commission on your sales every rand you make goes directly into your business account. Hosting, SSL, and platform maintenance are all included in your subscription.
What happens to my store if I cancel?
Your WooCommerce store is yours and always will be. If you cancel your Stratum subscription, the multi-channel management features deactivate but your store continues to run and trade normally. After 12 months you can also fully decouple your store from Stratum if you prefer to manage it independently.
What does the early adopter pricing mean exactly?
The first 25 merchants who sign up lock in the launch price for 12 months no matter what the standard rate moves to. After 12 months your subscription renews at the standard rate. There are no contracts and you can cancel any time.
What is included with the onboarding?
Your onboarding includes: professional store design matched to your brand, initial product catalogue upload, payment gateway configuration, shipping and logistics setup, merchant account registration, and hands-on business owner training. Everything you need to trade on day one managed by our team.
